In Mexico the celebration begins on the eve of their independence with El Grito, to pay tribute to El Grito De Dolores, or the Cry of Dolores which is a famous speech by Father Miguel Hidalgo. People will gather in town squares all over Mexico to hear their town leaders recreate the moment Miguel Hidalgo gave this speech to rally up troops and fight for their freedom.
