St. Patrick's Day is coming! Are you ready to try unique, new and wonderful recipes? 

Pot o' Gold Shots

INGREDIENTS

1 package lemon or pineapple Jell-O

1 1/2 c. water, divided

1/2 c. cold Jameson Whiskey

1 container Cool Whip (8 oz.)

Gold sprinkles, for garnish

16 rainbow candy belts, each about 1” long

DIRECTIONS

Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add Jell-O mix, stirring until dissolved. Turn off heat and stir in remaining water and whiskey, then pour mixture into plastic shot glasses, filling each one two-thirds of the way up. Refrigerate until set, 1 hour. Top with a dollop of Cool Whip or whipped cream. Add gold sprinkles and top with a 1"-long rainbow candy belt, forming it into a semi-circle, like a rainbow. Serve.

Shamrock Sour Cocktail

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons lime juice

1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup simple syrup

2 ounces any Irish Whiskey

1 tiny drop of green food coloring

Lime wedges for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients and shake well; strain over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and a shamrock stirrer. To avoid your drink becoming too green, you can dab an extra wooden skewer into the green food coloring and then stir that into your drink to better control the amount of color.

The Nutty Irishman

INGREDIENTS

1 ounce Frangelico

1 ounce Bailey's Irish Cream

1 ounce Kahlua

5 ounces hot coffee

Whipped cream

Sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

Pour the Frangelico, Bailey's and Kahlua into a coffee mug and stir. Pour the coffee into the mug and top with whipped cream. Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.

Baby Guinness Jell-O Shots

INGREDIENTS

For the chocolate Guinness Jell-O shot portion:

1/2 cup cold Guinness Stout

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

1/4 cup Patron XO Cafe

1/4 cup Potter’s Crème de Cacao or just 1/2 cup Potter’s Crème de Cacao if not using Patron

1 cup hot water

For the Bailey's Jell-O shot portion:

1/2 cup Bailey's Irish Cream

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

1/2 cup hot water

DIRECTIONS

For the chocolate Guinness Jell-O shot portion:

Add Guinness to a medium bowl, sprinkle on both envelopes of gelatin, and allow to sit for one minute. Stir in Patron, crème de cacao and hot water until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Evenly divide the chocolate Guinness Jell-O shot mixture into individual shot glass cups and refrigerate immediately for 15-20 minutes.

For the Bailey's Jell-O shot portion:

Once the Guinness portion has chilled, add the Bailey's Irish Cream to a medium bowl, sprinkle on the packet of gelatin, and allow to sit for one minute. Pour hot water into the Bailey's Jell-O shot mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Gently pour the Bailey's Jell-O shot mixture over the chilled Guinness mixture. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until completely set. Enjoy!

Red Zinger

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz. Johnnie Walker Red Label

2 oz. ginger ale

1 twist lemon

DIRECTIONS

Add Johnnie Walker Red Label and ginger ale. Mix and serve over ice. Garnish with twist of lemon.

Baileys S'mores Floats

INGREDIENTS

1/4 c. melted chocolate

1/2 c. crushed graham crackers, plus more for garnish

1 pt. vanilla ice cream

4 c. chocolate milk

1/2 c. Baileys Irish Cream

8 large marshmallows

Chocolate syrup, for drizzling

DIRECTIONS

Preheat broiler. Place marshmallows on a small baking sheet and broil until golden on top, about 4 minutes. In a small dish, pour melted chocolate. In another small dish, pour crushed graham crackers. Dip glasses into chocolate sauce to rim the mugs, then dip in crushed graham crackers. Scoop ice cream into each glass, then pour chocolate milk on top and add a splash of Baileys. Top each float with two marshmallows, then drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with more crushed graham crackers. Serve with spoons immediately.
